Ashlesha is a firm advocate for ElevatHer and is thrilled to be the app’s first ambassador in Asia. Hear more about her journey on our first podcast.

Ashlesha covers Consultant Relations for Asia for T. Rowe Price, a global asset manager. Relocating to Singapore from London for the role in December 2019, Ashlesha works closely with the firm’s business development and investment teams to enhance engagement with the consultants, researchers and platforms that underpin the institutional and intermediary markets of Asia.

She was previously with Russell Investments in London, most recently as a Senior Manager for UK Consultant Relations. She led Russell’s EMEA Gender Equality network, was a committee member of the EMEA Diversity & Inclusion committee, and was a committee member of the asset management industry’s Diversity Project’s ‘Gender Equality’ stream. She was involved with organising an International Women’s Day celebration with industry representative speakers, a video celebrating the industry’s female investment role models, and an EMEA-wide ‘Skills Week’ as part of her D&I leadership role. She additionally mentored three women in the asset management industry, and initiated a presentation skills training programme for Russell’s annual intake of interns.

Ashlesha was listed as #7 in the Financial Times’ ’50 Female Future Leaders’ list in 2018. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and studied Classics at King’s College London. She is a keen hiker, having completed Everest Base Camp in 2018. She is excited to attempt Mount Kilimanjaro in 2020!

Ashlesha is a firm advocate for ElevatHer and is thrilled to be the app’s first ambassador in Singapore! In her opinion, it is a fantastic platform to meet like-minded women, especially at networking events, where approaching someone new can seem daunting. In fact, the app is proving to be incredibly useful in her relocation to Singapore, where she doesn’t know many people, and is therefore continually expanding her network.
